Job summary

McKesson Ireland seeks an experienced technology leader to connect SAP platform delivery, ITSM practices and contract/SLA governance in a complex enterprise environment.

You will oversee SAP S/4HANA AMS service delivery, manage incidents, changes and escalations, and drive continuous service improvement with KPI dashboards and executive updates. Collaboration with architecture, security and business stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, IT, engineering or related field.
10+ years in technology, SAP, platform services or enterprise application management.

Responsibilities

Lead SAP RISE contract, SLA, and service performance management.
Oversee SAP S/4HANA AMS service delivery, incidents, problems, changes, requests and escalations.
Develop and present QBRs, KPI dashboards and executive updates translating technical performance to business impact.
Design and mature ITSM service catalog, definitions, intake models and operating procedures.
Drive continuous service improvement using trends, root cause analysis and customer feedback.
Monitor performance with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Focused Run and related tools; guide improvements.
Partner with architecture, product, security, infrastructure and business to align SAP services with priorities.
Manage vendor relationships and governance routines to improve accountability and value delivery.

About the Role

This role is ideal for a service-focused technology leader who can connect SAP platform delivery, ITSM practices, contract/SLA management, and continuous improvement in a complex enterprise environment.

What You’ll Do

Lead SAP RISE contract, SLA, and service performance management with SAP, AMS providers, and Hyperscaler partners including Azure and AWS.
Oversee SAP S/4HANA AMS service delivery, ensuring incidents, problems, changes, service requests, and escalations are managed effectively.
Develop and present QBRs, KPI dashboards, service health reports, and executive updates that translate technical performance into business impact.
Design and mature ITSM service catalog offerings, service definitions, intake models, and operating procedures.
Drive continuous service improvement initiatives using trends, root cause analysis, customer feedback, and operational performance data.
Use SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Focused Run, and related observability tools to monitor performance, identify patterns, and guide improvement actions.
Partner with architecture, product, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to align SAP platform services with enterprise priorities.
Manage strategic vendor relationships and governance routines to improve accountability, transparency, and value delivery.

Basic Requirements

10+ years of relevant technology, SAP, platform, service delivery, or enterprise application management experience.
Experience managing SAP S/4HANA, SAP RISE, SAP AMS, or enterprise ERP service delivery in a production environment.
Experience with contract, SLA, KPI, QBR, vendor, or managed service provider performance management.
Experience working with ITSM processes such as incident, problem, change, request, service catalog, or continuous service improvement.
Experience preparing service performance reports, dashboards, executive updates, or stakeholder communications.
Experience working with cloud or hyperscaler environments such as Azure, AWS, or equivalent enterprise cloud platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Experience with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Focused Run, ServiceNow, Azure Monitor, AWS monitoring tools, or enterprise observability platforms.
Experience leading SAP service governance in regulated, large-scale, or complex enterprise environments.
Familiarity with ITIL practices, service catalog design, operational readiness, and service transition.
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, translate data into action, and lead continuous improvement.
Experience supporting executive-level technology reporting, roadmap alignment, budget inputs, or vendor scorecards.

Travel / Work Environment / Physical Requirements

Work model may be remote, hybrid, or office-based depending on team and business needs. Occasional travel may be required for business reviews, planning sessions, vendor meetings, or stakeholder workshops. Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and participate in virtual and in-person meetings.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered. Our Base Pay Range for this position €82,500 - €137,500.
