Job summary

Orange Recruitment seeks an experienced Specialist Cleaning Supervisor to lead site-based cleaning teams across industrial and commercial projects in Ireland. You will oversee daily workloads, maintain safety and quality standards, and act as the main contact between the team and site management.

This hands-on role focuses on practical supervision on client sites, driving performance and ensuring timely delivery of projects with opportunities for progression within a growing services company.

Job description

Currently recruiting for an experienced Specialist Cleaning Supervisor to join a growing team delivering industrial and commercial cleaning services across a variety of client sites. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being out on-site, leading from the front and taking pride in delivering high-quality work. You'll work closely with your team on a daily basis, overseeing projects while remaining actively involved in specialist cleaning activities. If you're someone who prefers practical work over sitting behind a desk, this could be an excellent fit.

Main Duties:

• Lead site-based cleaning teams across a range of industrial and specialist cleaning projects.
• Work alongside operatives carrying out cleaning, restoration and maintenance tasks.
• Organise daily workloads and ensure projects are completed within agreed timeframes.
• Monitor work quality and ensure standards are consistently achieved across all sites.
• Carry out site inspections and address any issues promptly.
• Promote safe working practices and ensure all team members follow company procedures.
• Operate and supervise the use of specialist cleaning equipment, access systems and machinery.
• Act as the main point of contact between the cleaning team and site management.
• Complete relevant paperwork, site reports, safety documentation and job records.
• Support the onboarding and development of new team members.
• Assist with scheduling labour, equipment and materials for upcoming projects.
• Ensure company vehicles, tools and equipment are maintained and presented professionally.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience leading teams within industrial cleaning, facilities services, property maintenance or a similar environment.
• Strong hands-on background in specialist cleaning operations.
• Current Safe Pass certification.
• MEWP certification or previous experience working from elevated platforms.
• Experience using pressure washing and industrial cleaning systems.
• Window cleaning experience, including Reach & Wash equipment.
• Comfortable operating specialist cleaning machinery and powered equipment.
• Good understanding of risk assessments, health and safety requirements and safe systems of work.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and maintain high standards on busy client sites.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Reliable, organised and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
