Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a hands-on Cleaning Supervisor responsible for the practical organisation of the day-to-day cleaning operation across sites, monitoring stocks of equipment, and ensuring monthly audits are carried out in line with company policies. You will develop induction procedures, organise training, and oversee cover for holidays and sickness while maintaining safety standards.

• Supervisory experience in a cleaning environment.
• Willing to cover cleaning areas during staff shortfalls, holidays and sickness.
• Pro-active attitude and good IT/computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Organise day-to-day cleaning operation across sites.
• Monitor stocks of cleaning equipment and materials and place orders timely.
• Ensure monthly cleaning audits are carried out.
• Develop and carry out induction procedures with new staff.
• Organise appropriate training for all cleaning staff.

About The Role:

Role Objectives

• To have the overall responsibility for the practical organisation of the day-to-day cleaning operation.
• To monitor stocks of cleaning equipment and materials in order that orders can be placed on a timely basis.
• Ensure monthly cleaning Audits are carried out.
• Develop and carry out induction procedures with all new staff.
• To organise appropriate training for all cleaning.
• Schedule holiday and sickness cover
• To ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed, in accordance with company policies.

Skills and Attributes

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Supervisory experience in a cleaning environment, preferably in a PPP environment.
• Happy to cover area's of Cleaning when required by the business during staff shortfalls, holiday and sickness cover
• A pro-active attitude.
• Good IT/computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and the written word.
• The ability to form relationships with clients and to exceed customer expectation.
