Site Services Lead - Leixlip
Our client is an elite service provider in critical and controlled environments, specialising in the Semiconductor, Data Center, and Pharma/Healthcare industries. Their Technical Site Services team delivers cleanroom performance testing, certification services, protocol management, and cleaning and construction management.
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Site Services Lead to take day-to-day ownership of project delivery, health & safety, people management and commercial performance across their cleanroom and controlled-environment sites. This is a broad, hands-on leadership role spanning project execution, client relationship management, contamination control programs, and team oversight, suited to someone comfortable operating across operational, commercial and compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the performance, quality and H&S of the team, including legal compliance, documentation, training and accident investigation.
- Prepare customer quotes and manage invoicing.
- People management, including contracts and documentation.
- Financial oversight, including payroll, pension, CSO returns and pay rates.
- Sourcing, hiring and induction of all new employees.
- Customer meetings and management of customer contracts.
- New business development.
- Day-to-day responsibility for management of all project activities.
- Prepare and implement the Project Execution Plan.
- Prepare project status reports.
- Oversee the production and maintenance of all project plans.
- Monitor and update progress of the project against the plan.
- Identify, process and resolve issues through the Issues Management Procedure.
- Identify and action project changes through the Change Management Procedure.
- Monitor and address project risks through the Risk Management Procedure.
- Prepare Management Meeting agendas and minutes.
- Act in the customer's best interests for successful completion of the project.
- Hold full authority, vested by the customer and the contractor, to enforce construction clean policies as outlined in the specifications and other contract documents.
- Attend relevant construction coordination meetings.
- Manage the overall construction clean program, and organise and oversee protocol training sessions required for persons entering the Clean Zone.
- Maintain electronic records of each person's completion of the protocol training program.
- Monitor, record and distribute particle counts and environmental data taken during Clean Zone construction.
- Review deviations from the Contract Documents, including specifications and cleanliness levels, and direct and review subsequent correction.
- Record violations by type and contractor/subcontractor.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior site services, project or operations management role within cleanroom, construction, or controlled-environment settings (Semiconductor, Data Center or Pharma/Healthcare industries preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, with experience managing compliance, documentation, training and accident investigation.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including project execution planning, and issues, change and risk management.
- Experience managing people, including recruitment, induction, contracts and day-to-day team leadership.
- Commercial and financial acumen, including experience with quoting, invoicing, payroll and budgeting.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience managing customer relationships and contracts.
- Relevant third-level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Health & Safety, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
