Job summary

Aqua Sana Forest Spa at Longford Forest, part of the Center Parcs group, is hiring a Spa Assistant / Lifeguard (trainee and qualified) on a fixed-term contract until 8 April 2027. The role pays €15.73 per hour and is part-time with a guaranteed minimum of 120 hours every 4 weeks.

You’ll ensure guest safety as lifeguard, deliver excellent service, maintain spa hygiene and ambience, and support maintenance. Trainees must complete a 5-day NPLQ course and Garda vetting applies.

Qualifications

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard / IWS qualification is required for qualified lifeguards.
• Clear communicator with good time management and initiative.
• Ability to build positive relationships across levels and within a team.
• Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues.

Bring calm, care and confidence to every guest

Join our team as a Spa Assistant / Lifeguard and help create a safe, cleanand tranquil environment for our guests. You'll deliver exceptional service while maintaining the high standards and serene atmosphere of our Aqua Sana Forest Spa.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide lifeguard support and ensure guest safety at all times
• Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance the guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness and ambience through daily spa upkeep and deep cleaning routines
• Support general maintenance to uphold spa presentation and hygiene standards

Please note Trainee candidates must attend a 5-day NPLQ course and employment will be subject to passing the course.

Your working hours

Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 8th April 2027

• Part‑time contract
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of120 hours over a 4- week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
• Premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday

As part of the interview process, candidates are required to complete a swim test.

Note: You'll need to complete aGarda vetting before starting (we'll help with that).
