Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group (Global) Ltd is seeking an experienced Solution Architect in Dublin for a hybrid role (2 days on-site). The contract runs through January with a high likelihood of extension into platform evolution.

Start date is ASAP, working with a wide delivery team to ensure architectural soundness and proactive risk handling. You will translate complex concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, challenge teams constructively, and ensure migration considerations

Qualifications

• Proven solution architecture background in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong Azure experience (cloud-native and migration-led delivery).
• Hands-on experience migrating systems from on-premise to Azure.
• Enterprise integration experience (e.g. TIBCO, MuleSoft, or similar).
• Knowledge of event-driven / event-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution architecture oversight across the programme.
• Ensure on-prem to Azure migration considerations are captured (integration, security, resilience, data, operations).
• Challenge and guide technical teams to stay on track.
• Translate technical concepts into clear, practical direction for stakeholders.
• Build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and communicate clearly to non-technical audiences.

Job description

We are currently supporting one of our clients to hire an experienced Solution Architect to provide architectural oversight and \"healthy challenge\" across a major cloud migration programme. This is a requirement where strong stakeholder engagement and communication are essential alongside hands-on technical depth.

Location: Dublin (Hybrid - 2 days p/week on-site)

Contract: Initial engagement to January (Phase 1), with a likely extension into Phase 2 (platform evolution/modernisation)

Start: ASAP

The Role

You'll work closely with the wider delivery team to ensure the programme is architecturally sound, migration risks are addressed early, and technical decisions are well understood across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key focus areas:

• Providing solution architecture oversight across the programme
• Ensuring all on-prem to Azure migration considerations are captured (integration, security, resilience, data, operations)
• Challenging and guiding technical teams constructively to keep the programme on track
• Translating technical concepts into clear, practical direction for stakeholders

Required Experience / Skills

• Proven Solution Architecture background in complex enterprise environments
• Strong Azure experience (cloud-native and migration-led delivery)

• Enterprise integration experience (e.g. TIBCO, MuleSoft, or similar)
• Knowledge of:
