Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver enterprise technology solutions across application, integration, data and cloud environments in Ireland. You will work with business and technical stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment and successful delivery.

The role emphasizes Microsoft Azure, cloud-native patterns, and hybrid cloud migration, requiring strong governance and senior stakeholder collaboration across large programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Solution Design and Solution Architecture across large tech projects.
• End-to-end solution design across database, backend, integration and UX/frontend.
• Strong Azure Platform Services experience and cloud-native architectures.
• Hybrid cloud deployment and Azure migration experience.
• Proven governance, standards, and non-functional requirements integration.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with senior business and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture activities across large and strategic technology projects.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand requirements and define non-functional requirements.
• Design end-to-end solutions across database, backend, integration and UX layers.
• Develop clear solution designs aligned with architectural strategy and standards.
• Design cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Coordinate with other architecture teams to develop holistic solutions.
• Present designs through governance and review processes.
• Provide architectural oversight during implementation and ensure alignment with design.
• Support roadmaps for architecture standards and reusable patterns.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders.
