Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Solutions Architect for a 6‑month Dublin contract to lead discovery, define architecture, and drive modernisation across portals, apps, APIs, and data integrations. The role requires cloud migration experience for on‑prem and hybrid environments and strong stakeholder communication to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in complex enterprise, digital, or financial-services environments.
• Experience creating cloud migration strategies for on‑prem and hybrid environments.
• Background in modern web, mobile, API-led, and integration-heavy architectures.
• Strong knowledge of application modernisation and legacy‑platform migration/roadmaps.
• Confident stakeholder communication to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience with .NET and Java.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering/migration tooling and reusable design systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery to validate assumptions and define required architectural work before programme mobilisation.
• Document and maintain current-state and target-state architecture across portals, websites, mobile apps, internal systems, APIs, data flows, and integrations.
• Define target architectures and technical roadmaps for consolidation, migration, and modernisation of legacy applications.
• Shape migration approaches: feature decomposition, sequencing, proof-of-concepts, dependency mapping, and delivery constraints.
• Provide solution architecture support across digital journeys, business applications, data integration, governance, and enterprise initiatives.
• Define non-functional requirements across security, resilience, scalability, supportability, observability, accessibility, and compliance (including DPIA support).
• Ensure solutions and third-party services are integrated, governed, and aligned to enterprise architecture and security standards.
