Job summary

PartnerRe, a leading global reinsurer, seeks a dynamic Scrum Master to join the Group Information Technology Department based in Dublin or Toronto. The role focuses on successfully managing IT projects from initiation to completion, delivering capabilities aligned with our IT transformation goals and corporate strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management experience.
• Agile certification (Scrum Master, PMP-ACP) required.
• Experience with technology innovation and cloud.
• Knowledge of waterfall and agile methods.
• Excellent verbal and written English; French/German a plus.
• Insurance/reinsurance industry experience preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from initiation to completion.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and agile practices.
• Coach teams in Scrum, Kanban and agile methods.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks and issues.
• Prepare schedules, quality plans and reports.
• Monitor costs, timelines and resources; take corrective action.
• Ensure formal project closure and lessons learned.
