Job summary
Northern Trust in Ireland seeks a hands-on Scrum Master to support Agile delivery teams across technology initiatives. You will facilitate ceremonies, maintain healthy backlogs and work closely with Product Owners and developers to deliver sprint commitments.
The role focuses on facilitating collaboration, clear communication and continuous improvement within the team, helping maintain a positive delivery environment and strong stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Scrum Master or similar delivery-focused role.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Support backlog refinement, prioritisation and sprint readiness for Product Owners and delivery teams.
- Help teams plan and manage their work, keeping sprint goals visible and achievable.
- Identify and help remove impediments impacting delivery progress.
- Track risks, issues and dependencies and escalate when appropriate.
- Use Agile tools to monitor progress and provide transparency to stakeholders.
- Promote collaboration between Product Owners, developers and key stakeholders.
- Encourage Agile best practices and continuous improvement within the team.
