Job summary

Aviva plc in Dublin is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support delivery within our Corporate Solutions Programme. This strategic initiative focuses on transforming corporate offerings through agile delivery, digital innovation, and operational excellence.

You will enable high-performing cross-functional teams, facilitate agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to keep delivery aligned with objectives and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience as Scrum Master in large-scale Agile programmes.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
• Expert-level proficiency in Agile delivery tools, particularly Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience supporting distributed teams and managing complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery metrics, sprint tracking, and performance monitoring.
• Ability to identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive effective problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Facilitated daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring ceremonies remain focused and productive.
• Coach and support cross-functional teams in Agile principles, practices, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and remove impediments, escalating issues and resolving dependencies where necessary.
• Monitors sprint progress, team velocity, and delivery metrics to support predictable outcomes.
• Work closely with Product Owners and Programme Managers to maintain clarity around scope, priorities, and delivery objectives.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Drive actionable improvements through retrospectives and promote Agile maturity across teams and the wider programme.

• Experiencecontributingtolarge-scaletransformationprogrammesinvolvingdigitalinnovationandoperationalimprovement.
