Job summary

Taylor Root is assisting a leading international firm to grow its Financial Services Regulation practice after a recently hired partner. The team advises banks, investment firms, fintechs, fund services and other regulated businesses across Irish and EU matters.

The role targets qualified Solicitors with at least 2 years PQE in FS Reg or Funds, offering high‑quality work, strong international exposure and a market leading salary.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in Financial Services Regulation or Funds.
• Experience advising banks, investment firms, fintechs or fund service providers.
• Strong knowledge of Irish and EU regulatory matters including authorisations, AML, governance and enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory advice to clients on a range of FS matters.
• Support investigations, enforcement actions and governance reviews.
• Collaborate with partners on regulatory M&A and cross-border work.

We have been briefed on an exciting opportunity with a leading international firm who are looking to expand their Financial Services Regulation practice under a recently hired partner.

The team advises banks, investment firms, fintechs, fund service providers and other regulated businesses across a wide range of Irish and EU regulatory matters. The work spans Central Bank authorisations, AML, IAF, governance, prudential and conduct requirements, regulatory M&A, investigations and enforcement matters.

The role offers high-quality regulatory work with strong international exposure alongside a market leading salary. They are keen to speak to qualified Solicitors with at least 2 years PQE in an FS Reg or Funds team at a reputable firm or relevant in-house role.
