Job summary

Hayes Solicitors is seeking an ambitious commercial advisory lawyer to join our established Commercial team. The role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial advisory, contract, technology, AI and data protection matters across a diverse client base.

You will work closely with partners to advise on day-to-day issues and strategic decisions, acting as an extension of clients' in-house function and building long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• 1 - 4 years relevant PQE.
• Strong technical and drafting skills, and a genuine interest in commercial advisory work.
• The ability to work on their own initiative, and as part of a team.
• The ability to prioritise and focus on solutions.
• Enthusiasm for business development and growing their profile.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly manner.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial advisory, contract, technology, AI and data protection matters across a diverse and high-quality client base. Working closely with partners and senior colleagues, you will play a key role in advising clients on both day-to-day commercial issues and strategic business decisions.

For many of our clients, we act as an extension of their in-house legal function. As a result, this role provides a unique opportunity to become a trusted adviser to growing and established businesses across a variety of sectors, gaining meaningful responsibility and direct client exposure from an early stage.

We are looking for someone who enjoys practical, solutions-focused legal work, values strong client relationships and is keen to contribute to the growth of a dynamic team.
