Job summary

Hunter Savage in Dublin seeks an ambitious Employment Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE to join the growing Employment practice. You will advise on a broad range of employment matters for a diverse client base, across advisory and contentious work.

You will work closely with experienced practitioners on contracts, policies, HR issues, restructures and workplace investigations, gaining exposure to high-quality matters in a market-leading team.

Qualifications

  • Be a qualified solicitor in Ireland or another recognised common law jurisdiction.
  • Have 1-3 years' PQE experience practising employment law.
  • Have experience advising employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
  • Possess strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide practical, commercial employment law advice to employers across a range of industries.
  • Advise on employment contracts, workplace policies, procedures and employee handbooks.
  • Support disciplinary processes, grievances, performance management matters and dismissals.
  • Advise on redundancies, restructures and organisational change projects.
  • Assist with employment-related aspects of mergers, acquisitions and corporate transactions.
  • Manage employment disputes and supporting clients through litigation processes.
  • Prepare legal correspondence, advice notes and client documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and keep up to date with legislative and regulatory developments.
  • Support client training initiatives and contribute to business development activities.

Job description

We are working with a highly regarded commercial law team seeking an ambitious Employment Solicitor with 1-3 years' PQE to join their growing Employment practice in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who is looking to further develop their career within a market-leading employment team, gaining exposure to high-quality advisory and contentious employment work for a diverse range of employers across a variety of sectors.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced practitioners advising organisations on complex employment and workplace matters, including strategic HR advice, employment disputes, restructuring projects, workplace investigations and employment issues arising from corporate transactions.

The Role

As an Employment Solicitor, you will advise clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:

  • Providing practical, commercial employment law advice to employers across a range of industries.
  • Advising on employment contracts, workplace policies, procedures and employee handbooks.
  • Supporting clients with disciplinary processes, grievances, performance management matters and dismissals.

  • Managing employment disputes and supporting clients through litigation processes.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified solicitor in Ireland or another recognised common law jurisdiction.
  • Have 1-3 years' PQE experience practising employment law.

  • Possess strong technical legal skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Have a commercial and pragmatic approach to client service.
