Activ8 Energies seeks Roofers or qualified Carpenters to join our Solar PV installations team in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan. This full-time role offers 6 weeks of industry training, a strong benefits package, and a clear path within a growing renewable energy company.

You will install Solar PV systems on residential properties and small-scale ground mounts, travel nationwide, and work to high safety standards. Excellent customer interaction and precise record-keeping are essential.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Roofer and/or a qualified Carpenter.
• Experience in cladding/industrial glazing is a plus.
• Willing to travel nationwide.
• Live within one hour of Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Ability to work at heights with a harness.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.

The Opportunity:

As a Solar PV Installer you will be responsible for the installation of our Solar PV Systems on residential buildings & ground mounted systems. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training.

About the role

Responsibilities Include:

• Install Solar Panels on residential homes to the highest of standards.

• Ensuredeadlines are met for upcoming installations and projects.

• Engagewith our customers and provideinformation and advice on work being undertaken.

• Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.

• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Roofer and/or a qualified Carpenter or have previous experience in Cladding/Industrial glazing.

• Previous experience working at heights with a the use of a harness.

• Previous solar experience is desirable

• Must live within one hour of Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.

• Must be willing to do nationwide travel.

• Must have a full Clean Driver's Licence.

• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and control Health and Safety aspects on site.

• Excellent organisational and planning skills along with a positive attitude for dealing with customers.

Schedule:
