Activ8 Solar Energies is recruiting a Solar PV Installer to join our installations team in Cashel, Co. Tipperary. The role requires 3+ years as a Roofer or Carpenter, with training provided and a focus on safe, high-quality residential solar installations.

You’ll install PV panels, work with a team to meet deadlines, and communicate with customers about ongoing work while maintaining meticulous records and safety standards.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Roofer or a qualified Carpenter.
• Live within a commutable distance of Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
• Experience working at heights with a harness and adherence to health & safety standards.

About this role

The Opportunity

As a Solar PV Installer you will be responsible for the installation of our Solar PV Systems on residential buildings & ground mounted systems. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training.

Responsibilities Include

• Install Solar Panels on residential homes to the highest of standards.
• Ensuredeadlines are met for upcoming installations and projects.
• Engagewith our customers and provideinformation and advice on work being undertaken.
• Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Roofer and/or a qualified Carpenter or have previous experience in Cladding/Industrial glazing.
• Previous solar experience is desirable
• Must live within a commutable distance of Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
• Previous experience working at heights with a the use of a harness.
• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and control Health and Safety aspects on site.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills along with a positive attitude for dealing with customers.

Schedule
