Job summary

Greenvolt Next is seeking a Solar O&M Engineer to monitor and optimize solar PV plants across Ireland. You will oversee performance data, plan preventive maintenance, and coordinate with field teams to maximize uptime.

The role requires 2+ years of solar experience, ability to read diagrams, and willingness to travel. A valid Ireland work permit and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in the engineering field.
• 2+ years of solar technical experience.
• Able to read and interpret single line diagrams and schematics.
• Demonstrated experience in maintenance of LV and 22kV cable, DC cable systems.
• Strong written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily plant performance using SCADA or remote monitoring systems.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance for PV modules, inverters, and monitoring systems.
• Identify root causes of system failures and repair equipment.
• Prepare monthly O&M reports on plant availability and performance.
• Adhere to safety and quality documentation standards.
