Job summary

Greenvolt Next is seeking a Solar O&M Engineer based in Ireland to monitor, maintain and optimize our solar PV plants. You will work with field teams to maximize uptime and efficiency, using SCADA data and on-site inspections.

The role requires 2+ years of solar experience, an engineering degree, and willingness to travel. You will prepare monthly performance reports, manage maintenance records and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in the engineering field.
• 2+ years of solar technical experience.
• Working knowledge of power system protection.
• Able to read and interpret single line diagrams and schematics.
• Experience in maintenance of LV and 22kV cable, DC cable systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily plant performance using SCADA or remote monitoring systems.
• Analyze production data and KPIs like Performance Ratio (PR).
• Detect performance anomalies and take corrective actions.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for PV modules, inverters, and monitoring systems.
• Conduct corrective maintenance and fault analysis to restore operation.
• Prepare monthly O&M reports on plant availability and performance.
