Job summary

A renewable energy company is seeking an O&M Technician to support the long-term performance of a solar power plant in Galway, Ireland. Responsibilities include on-site troubleshooting, maintenance activities, training, and documentation. Candidates should have experience in photovoltaic plants, SCADA systems, and must possess a valid Irish driver's license. The role is a permanent contract with a start date in June 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in commissioning and maintenance of photovoltaic power plants (preferred).
• Experience in electronics and automation fault detection techniques and troubleshooting.
• Experience in SCADA and remote-control systems.
• Must have a valid Irish driver license.
• Advanced English reading/writing/speaking (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Provide fast on-site and remote troubleshooting for production re-establishment.
• Carry out on-site specialized technical maintenance activities.
• Participate in Integrated Commissioning & Start-up activities.
• Provide training and technical workshops to consolidate maintenance competences.
• Produce technical documentation to support maintenance activity.
