Fruition Group Ireland seeks an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a software engineering team and drive delivery of scalable solutions. You will mentor engineers, set technical direction and collaborate with product owners to align on requirements.

You will oversee the full software development lifecycle, promote best practices, and contribute to technology roadmaps while managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations. This is a senior, office-based role in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Postgraduate qualifications advantageous.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Lead, manage and develop a team of software engineers, providing technical direction and regular performance feedback.
• Oversee design, development, testing and deployment of software applications meeting requirements.
• Take responsibility for software delivery, resource planning and prioritisation to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects and senior stakeholders to define technical requirements and strategy.
• Establish and improve software engineering standards, processes and best practices.
• Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and career development discussions.
• Provide technical guidance on architecture, performance, scalability and technologies.
• Promote a collaborative culture focused on innovation, accountability and knowledge sharing.
