Job summary

BD is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, implement, test, and maintain software for MMS Software Solutions in a cross-functional Agile team. You will contribute to cloud-connected applications, APIs, and platform services while adhering to quality, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements, building expertise in cloud-native architectures and regulated healthcare systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software/Engineering with 1–4 years in software development.
• Experience with object-oriented design, APIs, source control, automated testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot using logs and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop new software functionality using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Create unit, integration, and automated tests to support software quality goals.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and PI Planning.
• Troubleshoot defects and conduct root-cause investigations.
• Follow engineering standards, cybersecurity controls, and architecture patterns.
• Maintain software documentation and requirements traceability.
• Collaborate with product management, quality engineering, cybersecurity, DevOps, and other teams.
