Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 3+ years of experience developing commercial software
• Experience delivering Web Service APIs using Java and Spring
• Experience delivering on GCP or AWS
• Experience working in a collaborative setting
• Problem solver
• Demonstrates humility, empathy and support for colleagues
• Curious about emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development

Responsibilities

• Be an integral member of a cross-functional team in an agile environment
• Develop platform capabilities to meet business requirements
• Determine operational feasibility of proposed solutions
• Validate solutions using proof of concepts and prototypes
• Write simple code (low maintenance, extensibility, testability and performance)
• Collaborate with the team to take advantage of new concepts/technologies
• Make informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of services at scale
• Explore practical uses of AI-assisted engineering tools to improve developer productivity, code quality and delivery efficiency
