Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is recruiting Agency Social Care Workers to supply relief staff for HSE clients in Cork city and surrounding areas.

This agency role offers flexible relief shifts within Intellectual Disability services, across residential and community-based settings. Successful candidates will support individuals in achieving independence, dignity, and meaningful daily living, while working within a structured and professional environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 7 Degree in Applied Social Studies / Social Care (or equivalent).
• Minimum 1 year experience within Intellectual Disability services and/or challenging behaviour.
• CORU registration applied for or in progress.
• Working knowledge of Children First guidelines and procedures.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland without sponsorship.

AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting Agency Social Care Workers to supply relief staff to one of our HSE clients based in Cork city and surrounding areas.

This is an agency position, offering flexible relief shifts within established Intellectual Disability services, across both residential and community-based settings. Successful candidates will support individuals in achieving independence, dignity, and meaningful daily living, while working within a structured and professional environment.

Shifts include 12 hour day and night shifts.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum Level 7 Degree in Applied Social Studies / Social Care (or equivalent)
• Minimum 1 years experience within Intellectual Disability services and/or challenging behaviour
• Working knowledge of HIQA policies and procedures
• CORU registration applied for or in progress
• Working knowledge of Children First guidelines and procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Full driving licence and access to own transport
• Eligibility to work in Ireland without sponsorship
