Job summary

Prosper Fingal is hiring a Social Care Worker for Day Services in Donnycarney, Co. Dublin. You will provide person-centred supports to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism, helping them develop independence and participate in community life.

The role involves working as part of a dedicated team, with a focus on inclusion, goal achievement and values-aligned practice. CORU registration and QQI Level 7/8 are required.

Qualifications

• CORU registration as a Social Care Worker (essential).
• QQI Level 7 or 8 in Social Care or equivalent.
• Full, clean manual driving licence.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and IT skills.
• Disability services experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of New Directions is advantageous.
• Positive, person-centred approach and commitment to supporting people to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.
• Support people to build independence and develop everyday living skills.
• Encourage participation in community, social, creative and recreational activities.
• Support individuals to identify and work towards their personal goals.
• Promote choice, inclusion and meaningful participation in community life.
