Job summary

Daffodil Care Group in Naul, Co Dublin, is seeking Social Care Workers to join our mainstream residential service for young people aged 12–17. You will provide high quality social care in a safe, caring and stabilising environment and help deliver daily activities as part of a dedicated team.

A full Level 7 qualification or higher is required, along with CORU registration or eligibility and a full Irish driving licence. The role includes sleeping time shifts and a competitive starting salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 7 qualification (degree) or above in Psychology, Social Science / Social Studies, Counselling / Psychotherapy, Addiction Counselling, Youth and Community or similar, Teaching (Not TEFL), Nursing Studies, Disability Studies, Applied Behavioural Analysis, BA in Applied Policing or equivalent, or holder of Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service) or equivalent.
• Eligible to register as a Social Care Worker with CORU.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality social care and a safe, caring environment for vulnerable young people aged 12–17.
• Deliver individualized day-to-day activities in the residential service.
• Work as part of a team with Centre Manager and Social Care Leaders to support service users.

Social Care Worker

Daffodil Care Services are currently recruiting Social Care professionals for Social/Residential Care Worker positions in our mainstream residential care service in Naul, Co. Dublin.

Who we are -

Daffodil Care Group is one of Irelands leading social care service providers currently providing a range of services to meet the needs of young people and their families, these include registered residential, aftercare services as well as community outreach.

Working as part of this new team and collaboration with the Centre Manager and Social Care Leaders,you will be responsible for providing high quality social care and a safe, caring and stabilising environment to vulnerable young people aged between 12-17 years. You will play a key role in the delivery of individualized day-to-day activities in the residential service. This rewarding role will suit energetic, creative and versatile social care professionals with a passion for working with young people.

What we can offer you:

• Attractive starting salary package for our Full time Social Care Workers €40,067-€43,394(depending on experience)

• inclusive of sleeping time and premiums.

Qualifications & Experience
