Daffodil Care Services is recruiting Social Care Workers for full-time, part-time and relief positions in semi-independent residential services in Kinsealy & Artane, Co. Dublin. The role focuses on delivering high quality social care with a safe, caring environment for vulnerable young people.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 7 qualification (degree) or above in psychology, social care or related fields.
• A full Irish Driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality social care and a safe, caring environment for vulnerable young people.
• Deliver individualised day-to-day activities in the residential service.
• Collaborate with Centre Manager and Social Care Leaders to support service users.

Education

Bachelor degree or above in Psychology / Social Care related field

Professional Practice Qualification in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy

Professional Practice Qualification in Counselling / Psychotherapy

Professional Practice Qualification in Addiction Counselling

Youth and Community or similar

Social Science / Social Studies

Family Support

Teaching (Not TEFL)

Professional Qualification in Nursing Studies

Disability Studies

Applied Behavioural Analysis

BA in Applied Policing or equivalent

Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service) or equivalent

Social Care Worker

Daffodil Care Services are currently recruiting Social Care professionals for full time, part time Social Care Worker & Relief Social Care Worker positions in our Semi - independent residential care services in Kinsealy & Artane, Co. Dublin.

We welcome applications from both new graduates and experienced professionals in social care and related fields.

Daffodil Care Services is one of Irelands leading social care service providers currently providing a range of services to meet the needs of young people and their families, these include registered residential, aftercare services as well as community outreach.

Working as part of this new team and collaboration with the Centre Manager and Social Care Leaders,you will be responsible for providing high quality social care and a safe, caring and stabilising environment to vulnerable young people. You will play a key role in the delivery of individualised day-to-day activities in the residential service. This rewarding role will suit energetic, creative and versatile social care professionals with a passion for working with young people.

What we can offer you:

• Attractive starting salary package for our Social Care Workers of €39,567- €42,895 annually.

• inclusive of sleeping time and premiums.

• Typical schedule of 2 X twenty four hour shifts per week

About the role
