Job summary

Daffodil Care Group is recruiting a Social Care Manager for its mainstream residential care service in Dunleer, Co. Louth.

You will oversee the residential centre and lead a team of Social Care Workers and Social Care Leaders, working with the Director of Services to develop professional practice and positive outcomes for young people and families. The role requires leadership, empowerment skills, flexibility and a commitment to high standards of care.

Qualifications

• A minimum level 8 degree in Social Care and 3 years' post qualification work experience in a children's residential care setting.
• Level 7 in Social Care and a relevant management qualification and 4 years' post qualification work experience in a children's residential care setting.
• Strong experience in empowering others to achieve.
• Personal attributes of positivity, flexibility and problem-solving attitude as well as empathy and maturity are essential.
• A current full clean Driving Licence prior to commencement of employment.

Social Care Manager

Daffodil Care Services are currently recruiting a Social Care Manager for our mainstream residential care service in Dunleer, Co. Louth.

As a Social Care Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the residential centre and for leading a team of Social Care Workers and Social Care Leaders. Working closely with the Director of Services you will also be responsible for the modelling, leading, development and promotion of professional social care that delivers positive outcomes for young people and their families.

About the role

The successful candidate will possess:
