Emerald Locums is recruiting Social Care Workers for a leading disability service in County Kilkenny. You will work with individuals with intellectual, physical and sensory disabilities, in person-centred roles across various services in Kilkenny.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 7 qualification (or higher) in Social Care or a related discipline
• Experience working within disability services is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexible and person-centred approach to service delivery
• Full clean driver’s licence essential
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to individuals with disabilities
• Promote independence, social inclusion, and community participation
• Support individuals with activities of daily living
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, and colleagues
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Support the implementation of care and support plans
• Ensure service delivery reflects best practice and organisational values
• Contribute to the day-to-day operation of the service
