Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 7 qualification in Social Care or related Health/Social Care discipline.
• CORU registration (or proof that registration is in progress).
• Minimum 1 year’s experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Knowledge of current policies and developments within disability services.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
• Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential).

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established disability service provider supporting adults with physical and intellectual disabilities and autism across residential and day services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Social Care Workers to join a community-based residential service in Kyle, Co. Kilkenny, supporting individuals to live meaningful, inclusive, and independent lives.

The Role

As a Social Care Worker, you will:

• Support adults with intellectual and physical disabilities to live an ordinary life within a community setting
• Deliver person-centred supports aligned with individual care plans
