Cpl Healthcare are currently recruiting Social care Workers for a Children's Residential Service in Dublin City & County. The successful candidate will be based in a community residential setting, caring for children aged up to 18 years.

This is a full time position, working both day and overnight shifts Responsibilities include but are not limited to: development of Care and Placement Plans, promoting the rights of each child, and liaison with families and other services.

Qualifications

• CORU recognition or registration required.
• Experience with young people or residential care preferred.
• Clean driving licence and access to a car.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours and apply therapeutic interventions.

Responsabilités

• Participate in development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans.
• Promote rights and responsibilities of each child/young person within the centre.
• Support physical, emotional, social, educational, and religious welfare of each young person.
• Liaise with families and other services.
• Adhere to policies and procedures.
• Attend regular supervision with the Social Care Leader / Manager.
• Report writing and documentation.

Successful candidates will have:

• A CORU recognized Social Care qualification or full Coru registration
• Ideally some experience working with young people or residential experience
• Full clean manual driving licence and access to a car
• Experience working with challenging behaviors and an understanding of therapeutic interventions
