Job summary

TTM Healthcare are recruiting a Social care worker for a leading disability service based in Ballybay, Co. Monaghan.

This is a full-time permanent contract on a 39-hour week with a salary of €38,321 - €55,244 per annum and an additional 4% pay increase at the end of 2026. Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 7 in Social Care or equivalent.
• CORU registration or application in progress.
• At least 1 year experience with vulnerable adults or intellectual disabilities.
• Understanding of current policy developments in social care.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• A full driver’s licence and access to own car is essential.

Salary: €38,321 - €55, 244 per annum

An extra 4% pay increase will apply at the end of 2026.

What you will need:

• Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care.
• CORU registration or proof application is in progress
• Have 1 years experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
• An ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• A full driver’s licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.
