A leading care organization is seeking a passionate Social Care Worker in Athlone to support young people who have experienced trauma. This full-time role involves working in a team, offering extensive training, and making a positive difference in young lives. Applicants should hold a QQI Level 8 in Psychology or equivalent qualifications, possess excellent communication skills, and a full, clean driver’s license. Qualifications

• A full, clean drivers’ licence, valid in Ireland.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of the National Standards in Children’s Residential Centres.
• Ability to work with young people and challenging behaviour.
• Passion to support young people who have experienced trauma in their lives.

Social Care Worker Job Description

We are seeking applications from enthusiastic Social Care Workers who are passionate about supporting young people that have experienced trauma and display behaviours that challenge. These positions are ideal for those who enjoy working in a team and want to make a difference in the lives of young people. All employees will be provided with extensive training to assist you in your Social Care Worker Role.

48 hours per week inc. weekends shift work
