Job summary

CREGG in Galway is seeking an experienced SMT Manufacturing Engineer for a permanent role. You will program SMT equipment (Printer, Pick and Place, AOI), develop oven profiles, and set up PTH manufacturing processes.

You will interface with customers on test equipment, support NPI projects, implement CI with cost-reduction goals, and prepare assembly documentation. The role requires SMT component knowledge and experience in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Experience programming SMT equipment (Printer, Pick and Place, AOI).
• Strong knowledge of SMT components and processes.
• Experience with build planning and stakeholder management.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment, Med Device preferable.

Responsibilities

• Program all SMT equipment including Printer, Pick and Place and AOI.
• Develop oven profiles and program the oven.
• Setup PTH manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Interface with Customers for test equipment/program set up.
• Work with customers on NPI projects to improve manufacturability and schedule.
