A Level 8 qualification in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline is required, along with knowledge of SMT components and manufacturing processes. Qualifications
Level 8 qualification in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience with engineering Bills of Materials and technical drawings.
Flexibility to work overtime or weekends based on business needs.
Knowledge of SMT components and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Program and maintain all SMT equipment.
Develop and optimise reflow oven profiles.
Set up and support PTH manufacturing processes.
Liaise with customers for test equipment definitions.
Collaborate on New Product Introduction projects.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare and maintain assembly documentation.
Train production operatives on assembly processes.
Support developing planned maintenance routines.
Provide technical support to production teams.
Implement process control methodologies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Support ESG initiatives.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
