Job summary

Action24 is seeking a Smart Security Engineer to join our engineering team in Leinster. You will install, maintain and support Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Fire Alarm and Access Control systems, delivering a five-star customer experience and adhering to industry standards.

You will be customer-facing, with a focus on quality workmanship, safety compliance and collaborative problem solving. Regular travel within Leinster is expected.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in the security, engineering or electrical industry is preferred.
• Experience with Intruder Alarm systems, IP CCTV, Fire Alarm systems, Access Control, Networking/IP technologies or smart-home security tech is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and service Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Fire Alarm and Access Control systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot smart security technologies and applications.
• Provide excellent technical support to customers.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic and system faults.
• Complete installations and service work to a high standard.
• Follow Action24 procedures and industry standards.
• Maintain knowledge of Health & Safety policies and risk assessments.
• Complete required documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.
