Job summary

Breagh Recruitment is seeking a Small Works Mechanical Engineer for a Westmeath-based role with regular site travel to manage small mechanical fire protection projects. You will lead projects from survey through procurement, coordination, installation and handover, working closely with clients, subcontractors and the engineering team.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical engineering qualification and proven site coordination experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a mechanical engineering qualification or relevant mechanical background.
• Proven experience in mechanical construction, building services or project engineering.
• Comfortable managing site works and coordinating with clients and contractors.
• Full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage small works projects from survey through to handover
• Coordinate labour, materials, procurement and site requirements
• Review drawings and resolve mechanical installation issues
• Liaise with clients, site teams and subcontractors
• Monitor programme, quality, safety and project progress
• Maintain project records and close-out documentation
