Walsh Waste & Recycling in Oranmore is seeking a dependable Skip Truck Driver to join our operations team. You will safely operate Skip Trucks, deliver and collect skips for commercial and domestic customers, and use mobile apps to manage daily tasks in real time.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and high-quality customer service while complying with environmental regulations. Experience with RORO/Chain Lift vehicles is preferred, and a strong safety mindset is essential.

• Safely operate Roll-On/Roll-Off (RORO) and Chain Lift Skip Trucks in accordance with company procedures and road traffic regulations.
• Deliver, exchange and collect skips from customer sites efficiently and professionally.
• Use company smartphone applications to receive job assignments, update job status and communicate operational information in real time.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues or defects.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism and environmental compliance.

Reporting to the Solid Waste Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of skips for commercial and domestic customers throughout the region.
