Job summary

Walsh Waste & Recycling in Oranmore, Ireland, seeks a dependable Skip Truck Driver to operate roll on/roll off skip trucks and manage daily tasks using a mobile app. The role is on-site, with training provided and a path for growth within a busy, established team.

Typical duties include delivering and collecting skips across the region while maintaining safety and customer service. Monday–Friday with Saturday rotations; close collaboration with the Solid Waste Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be able to commute or relocate to Oranmore, County Galway.
• Monday to Friday with Saturday on rotation.
• Good communication and a proactive approach to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll on/roll off and chain lift skip trucks safely and efficiently.
• Deliver and collect skips from customer locations across the region.
• Use a smartphone app to receive job assignments and update task progress.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and safety.
