Skip Truck Driver

Location: Walsh Waste & Recycling, Deerpark Industrial Estate, Oranmore.

We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Skip Truck Driver to join our team in Oranmore. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and is comfortable using mobile technology to manage daily tasks.

Reports to: The Skip Truck Driver will report to the Solid Waste Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate roll on/roll off and chain lift skip trucks safely and efficiently.
• Deliver and collect skips from customer locations across the region.
• Use a smartphone app to receive job assignments and update task progress.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and safety.

Requirements

• Ability to commute or relocate to Oranmore, County Galway reliably.
• Monday to Friday, Saturday work is required on rotation.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
