Job summary

INDCON is seeking a Skilled General Operative to join the Galway site team. Immediate start with full-time, on-site work and a focus on safe, efficient use of a broad range of power tools. The role requires construction site experience, reliability, and a strong safety mindset.

The ideal candidate will be practical, hands-on, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates are essential; additional tickets are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous construction site experience is essential.
• Must have a valid Safe Pass.
• Must have a valid Manual Handling certificate.
• Knowledge of using a wide range of power tools (drills, grinders, saws, impact drivers).
• Good knowledge of general construction site practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Additional construction tickets/qualifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• General site duties and assisting trades.
• Using power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Loading, unloading and moving materials.
• Assisting with site preparation and construction activities.
