Job summary

GEA Automation seeks a reliable General Operative to join our team on doors nationwide. You will assist with installation, servicing, and repair of door systems, with emphasis on precision and safety on busy construction sites.

We provide full uniform, PPE, and tools; travel time is paid; candidates should hold Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates and have a valid driving license. This is a full-time on-site role across Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experience on active construction sites.
• Must hold Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates.
• Working at Heights certification preferred; IPAF preferred.
• B Driving Licence is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation, servicing, and repair of various door systems.
• Ensure all jobs are completed to the highest standards of precision and craftsmanship.
• Strictly adhere to site health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Handle materials and equipment safely (role involves heavy lifting).

What You Need:

• Experience: Solid experience working on active construction sites. (Experience on pharmaceutical construction sites is highly preferable).
• Certifications: Must hold a valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificate.
• Traits: A strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent attention to detail.
