A growing production company in West Galway is seeking a reliable and mechanically minded General Operative. This hands-on position may suit someone with experience in construction, manufacturing, warehousing or operating machinery.

The initial working hours will be from 3.00 pm to 11.00 pm. Flexibility may be required during busier periods and an immediate start is available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating production and bagging machinery
• Monitoring equipment and identifying basic mechanical issues
• Carrying out minor adjustments and reporting machinery faults
• Monitoring production lines to maintain consistent quality
• Bagging, sealing, labelling and stacking finished products
• Loading and unloading stockAssisting with dispatch and general warehouse duties
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all hygiene, health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Mechanically minded with a practical, hands‑on approach
• Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, production, warehousing or machinery operation
• Comfortable working in cold‑room and freezer environments
