Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services on-site site supervisor role in Ireland is seeking a hands-on leader to direct the on-location operational team and ensure daily activities run smoothly. You will coordinate client liaison, manage shift schedules, supervise tanker loading, contractor activities and procurement of site consumables, while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Site Supervisor

Contract Duration/Type: Full time

Location: Kildare

Hybrid/Onsite: Onsite

Working Pattern (Time/Hours): 7:30am to 3:30pm

Overview of the Role

Direct and supervise the complete operational team for Veolia on location, ensuring daily site activities are ran efficiently.

Duties of the Role Include

• Act as the primary point of contact facilitating liaison between the client and company field operations.
• Oversee operational shift schedules, staff rosters, and time-off requests to ensure continuous service coverage.
• Supervise tanker loading processes, rear facility duties, and external contractor activities.
• Manage procurement for site consumables including containers and drums, maintaining equipment operational readiness.
• Ensure workforce compliance with organizational protocols and report safety events using designated reporting applications.
• Develop your team through a positive leadership approach , create objectives and training for the team

Required Skills for This Role

• Proven track record across supervisory operations, logistics planning, and transport control systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing hazardous materials and ensuring compliance with haulage regulations.
• DGSA Qualification (desirable) ADR/IMDG experience or qualification
