Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage the on-site operations in Kildare. The role involves directing the operational team, coordinating with the client, and ensuring seamless service delivery from 7:30am to 3:30pm.

This on-site position requires strong leadership, safety discipline and effective procurement for site consumables. Responsibilities include supervising tanker loading, contractor activities, and maintaining equipment readiness while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety

• Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and haulage regulations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the client and Veolia field operations.
• Oversee shift schedules, rosters and time-off requests for continuous service.

• Procure site consumables and maintain equipment readiness.
• Ensure workforce compliance with safety protocols and report safety events.
• Develop the team through leadership, set objectives and training plans.

Working Pattern (Time/Hours): 7:30am to 3:30pm

Overview of the Role

Direct and supervise the complete operational team for Veolia on location, ensuring daily site activities are ran efficiently.

Duties of the Role Include

• Act as the primary point of contact facilitating liaison between the client and company field operations.
• Oversee operational shift schedules, staff rosters, and time-off requests to ensure continuous service coverage.
• Supervise tanker loading processes, rear facility duties, and external contractor activities.
• Manage procurement for site consumables including containers and drums, maintaining equipment operational readiness.
• Ensure workforce compliance with organizational protocols and report safety events using designated reporting applications.
• Develop your team through a positive leadership approach , create objectives and training for the team

Required Skills for This Role

• Proven track record across supervisory operations, logistics planning, and transport control systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing hazardous materials and ensuring compliance with haulage regulations.
• ADR/IMDG experience or qualification
