Position Summary
NeoDyne is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor (E&I) to join our Power Generation team, supporting the delivery of power generation systems on large-scale data centre projects. The role requires a strong practical understanding of E&I installation and an ability to coordinate multiple contractors and work packages within a fast-paced data centre construction environment. The role is offered as a full-time staff position, based at our Dublin Office, with an excellent Salary and Benefits package. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, RAMS, vendor requirements and project standards.
- Supervise the E&I installation of standby generator systems and associated auxiliary equipment on data centre projects.
- Oversee installation of LV power and control cabling, containment, earthing, control panels, instrumentation and field devices.
- Coordinate E&I interfaces between generators, switchgear, control systems, fuel systems and other associated equipment.
- Coordinate E&I subcontractors, ensuring works are safely executed, adequately resourced and delivered to programme.
- Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging/punch-list close-out to achieve construction completion.
- Support E&I testing and commissioning, including cable testing, point-to-point checks, loop checks and functional testing.
- Maintain accurate site, quality and handover records, including inspections, redlines, test documentation and as-built information.
- Review drawings and site conditions to identify and resolve installation, access and interface issues before they impact progress.
- Monitor and report construction progress, constraints and upcoming site requirements to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with engineering and commissioning teams to ensure installations are complete and ready for energisation and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with site health & safety requirements, including RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
Required Experience & Skills
- Relevant Electrical, Instrumentation or E&I trade/technical qualification.
- Experience supervising E&I installation works in a construction or industrial environment.
- Good knowledge of LV electrical systems, controls, instrumentation, cabling and earthing.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, site activities, safety and quality requirements.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
Desired Experience
- Experience on data centre, mission-critical or power generation projects.
- Familiarity with standby generators, switchgear, control systems and associated instrumentation.
- Experience supporting testing, commissioning and project handover.
