Position Summary
NeoDyne is seeking a Completions Engineer to support the delivery of data centre and critical infrastructure projects from construction through commissioning and final handover.
Within our Power Generation & Energy Systems team, a Completions Engineer is the link between design, construction and commissioning teams, helping ensure that installed systems meet the design intent, project requirements and required quality standards.
The role will involve working closely with NeoDyne's engineering teams, clients, contractors and equipment vendors to manage the completion, verification and handover of complex electrical and mechanical systems.
The role is offered as a full-time staff position with an excellent Salary and Benefits package. We're offering location flexibility for the right candidate, with the role being based at any of our Irish offices: Dublin, Cork, Waterford or Galway.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate completion and handover activities across data centre and critical infrastructure projects while implementing a structured turnover plan, including systems and sub-system division.
- Manage and coordinate turnover packages, ensuring that all documentation. punch lists and quality records are complete and accurate.
- Develop and maintain completion plans, system boundaries, checklists and completion records.
- Coordinate and implement periodic reviews of the NeoDyne suite of ITRs
- Monitor construction completion, outstanding works, defects and punch-list items through to close-out.
- Coordinate with design engineers, contractors and vendors to resolve technical and completion issues.
- Review inspection, testing and completion documentation for completeness and compliance.
- Support the transition from construction completion through pre-commissioning, commissioning and integrated systems testing.
- Lead the process of turnover including system walkdowns and punch list generation.
- Monitor completion status and provide clear reporting on progress, outstanding actions and risks.
- Support the preparation and review of final handover documentation, including test records, certificates, as-built information and O&M documentation.
- Capture lessons learned and contributed to the continual improvement of NeoDyne's completion and commissioning processes.
Experience & Skills
Required
- Level 8 Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience in completions, commissioning, construction or engineering delivery within complex electrical or mechanical infrastructure projects.
- Good understanding of electrical and/or mechanical building services and associated testing and verification requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schematics and technical documentation.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors and equipment vendors.
- Strong attention to detail with a structured approach to documentation, tracking and close-out.
- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to health, safety and quality.
Desired
- Experience on data centre, mission-critical or other technically complex infrastructure projects.
- Experience with completion management systems, systemisation and turnover processes.
- Knowledge of data centre electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, cooling and controls.
- Experience supporting pre-commissioning, commissioning and integrated systems testing.
- Experience with system walkdowns, punch-list management and construction-to-commissioning handover.
- Familiarity with reviewing as-built documentation, O&M manuals and final project records.
