Air Apps is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of our AI-powered PRP platform. You will implement automation, monitoring, and performance optimizations across cloud environments from Lisbon.

You will design fault-tolerant systems, build observability stacks with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog and ELK, and drive IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.

Formación

• 4+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or System Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Hands-on containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go for automation.
• Knowledge of load balancing, failover, and DR strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant systems across cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain observability tooling, including monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and incident response using IaC tools.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and incident response workflows.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps to improve reliability-focused designs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
• Ensure high availability with load balancing and disaster recovery strategies.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for faster, stable deployments.
• Optimize cloud cost and resources across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Participate in on-call rotations to minimize downtime.
