Job summary

Careeriser-Limited in Wexford is seeking a Senior Site Manager to oversee large-scale residential construction projects. You will lead daily site operations, supervise subcontractors, manage safety, quality, and progress, while coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 5+ years’ experience in healthcare/commercial/residential construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring all works are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification
• Supervise subcontractors, trades, and direct labour to drive productivity and maintain programme targets
• Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and key milestones
• Maintain and enforce health & safety standards in line with company procedures and statutory requirements
• Ensure high-quality delivery through regular inspections and robust quality control processes
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Engineers, and design team to align activities and resolve site issues
• Oversee site logistics, including materials and plant, to optimise procurement and resource utilisation
• Keep detailed daily records and progress reports, ensuring clear and consistent communication with senior management
• Assist in the identification and management of project variations alongside the team
• Chair site meetings, daily briefings, and toolbox talks to promote effective communication and coordination
