Job summary

Galetech Contracts Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day construction delivery on multiple concurrent projects across Ireland. This predominantly site-based role requires close collaboration with site teams, subcontractors and clients, with regular travel to project sites.

The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director, maintain programmes, and ensure quality and safety standards across all works.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in a site-based construction role with day-to-day works responsibility.
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive delivery approach.
• Sound understanding of drawings, specifications and construction programmes.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel across Ireland.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification, current and in date.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate site activity across concurrent projects to meet programme requirements.
• Direct and supervise site personnel and subcontractors on a day-to-day basis.
• Monitor progress, identify slippage and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain site records, daily reports and progress photographs.
• Act as main point of contact for clients on live sites and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure health and safety compliance in line with procedures.
