E-Frontiers Ltd, Galway, with a leading main contractor, seeks an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for major commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects in the West of Ireland.

You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and direct labour, ensure work is delivered on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards, reporting progress to the Project Manager.

Formación

• Proven experience as Site Manager on main contractor projects.
• Strong leadership, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of Irish building regulations and HSE standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.

Site Manager Galway | Main Contractor | Permanent

The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a leading main contractor delivering high-quality commercial, residential and mixed-use developments across the West of Ireland. As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of a major construction project in Galway. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work and genuine long-term career progression.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day site operations from groundworks through to completion.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour on site.
• Ensure the project is delivered in line with programme, specifications and budget.
• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Monitor progress and proactively address any delays or issues on site.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Engineers and Quantity Surveyors.
• Conduct daily site inspections and quality control checks.
• Chair site meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings and technical specifications.
• Oversee snagging, commissioning and handover processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor.
• Strong track record delivering commercial, residential or mixed-use projects.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site coordination.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and competing priorities.
• Solid understanding of Irish building regulations and health & safety standards.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management systems.
• Desirable Degree or qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects in Ireland.
• Trade or engineering background advantageous.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.
• First Aid certification.
